Meet Our Counselors

Meet the amazing and dedicated Beresford Elementary School wellness team! Students can reach out to their counselors for questions, guidance, and support.

School psychologists may provide support and consultation to teachers and parents of students experiencing learning and/or behavior problems. Students with an Individual Education Program who exhibit the need for a higher level of care may be recommended to receive Educationally-Related Mental Health Services. Please contact the SMFC Student Services Department for additional information or support at (650) 312-7341.

Pam Malowe Hi! I’m Pam Malowe, the school counselor, at Beresford Elementary School. I received my Bachelors in Communication from the University of California, San Diego and my Masters and PPS Credential in School Counseling from Azusa Pacific University.  I have counseled diverse populations at all grade levels and elementary is my favorite because I can help students early on. I enjoy forming positive relationships with students and families. I help support a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment where students build strong academic and social-emotional skills. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, book clubs, dancing, game nights, and traveling.
