1st Grade - Ms. Morgan Khoury
Hello Beresford Families!
I am so happy and thankful to be a part of the Beresford community! This is my second year teaching First Grade at Beresford and I love it! I am a 3rd generation teacher, so teaching is definitely in my blood! I currently live in Russian Hill in San Francisco, but I grew up in San Mateo. I loved school as a kid, and always felt like it was a home away from. It my goal to create a similar home away from home feeling for my students!
I am a proud UCLA Bruin! I attended UCLA for college and graduated with a degree in Dance and minor in Applied Developmental Psychology. Dance has always been a passion of mine and love being able to incorporate movement and dance into the classroom whenever I can. After college, I taught as a Kindergarten assistant before attending the UCSB Gevirtz Graduate School of Education where I received my teaching credential and Masters.
I absolutely love being a First Grade teacher! I am passionate about the work I do and enjoy being at school with my students each day. I love supporting and guiding my students in their growth as readers, writers, and mathematicians. One of my favorite parts of my jobs is hearing one of my students become excited over something new they have learned or tell me how much they love to be at school.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, doing yoga or taking a spin class, exploring San Francisco and spending time outdoors, and trying new restaurants. I also love visiting friends in Southern California.
